Building A Network Marketing Business? The Initial Things To Consider...

The success of building a network marketing business is determined when you actually start your business. Do it wrong and it will cost you time, money, and emotional pain. Do it right and you are on your way to easy street, long term success, and the envy of your friends!

So how do we increase the odds of success? It starts with making sure that you have the five major pieces of starting a home business in place right from the beginning. Let’s look briefly at each these five pieces of the puzzle:

Internet Network Marketing Tax Advantages

The first big benefit of a home based business is the tax advantage. In Robert Kiyosaki author of “Rich Dad Poor Dad” explains there are really two tax codes:

•The tax code for employees

•The tax code for business owners

What is the biggest difference between the two? Employees are taxed first and have to live off what is left. Business owners, on the other hand, are taxed after their business expenses are paid.

The bottom line is a huge difference in your real disposable income – the amount of money available for you to spend. We will discuss this in more detail later.

Build for the Long Term not Short Term Success

As you consider a internet marketing business ask:

•Are your needs for income short-term or

•Are you beginning with the goal of enjoying long-term reliable residual income.

If it is a short-term need my advice is stop right now because you are destined to fail. A real business takes sustained on going effort to succeed.

If your goal is long-term success, realize a successful business is more than whether you like the products a company offers. While this is important it takes a back seat to:

•How you will market your business and

•The business model you use.

Your Choice of Business Model is Critical

Your business model will determine:

•Your customer retention rate

•Your distributor (or what ever they are called for your company) attrition rate

•Whether or not you have more than one income stream

•The stability of your future residual income.

Each of these will be discussed in more detail because your business model must be right or your Internet network marketing business is doomed to fail long term.

Marketing Your Business

The strategies of marketing your business will impact you in numerous areas:

•The cost to advertise

•The extent of your marketing reach

•The amount of time required learning the necessary skills to succeed

Your Choice of Internet Strategies Used to Build Your Business

Are you going to build your online network marketing business through:

•Affiliate programs

•Ezines or Google Adwords

•Article submissions

•Social Networking

•Bloggs

•Your own website

Although this is not a complete list of all areas of consideration it does give you a big picture perspective.

Ultimately your success in building your network marketing business will come down to:

•Personal determination

•Willingness to learn new skills

•The effort you are willing to devote to building your business

•Persistence in the face of difficulties and the support and training you receive along the way as you build your network marketing business
